As the owner and principal designer, Alisha collaborates with her clients, vendors, and trade partners to achieve harmonious interiors. A lifelong student of art and design, she brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. This helps her clients achieve better outcomes resulting in more functional and stylish glow ups for their space. Her friendly, outgoing, and down to earth nature make her easy to collaborate with. Her approach to design is thoughtful and intuitive, ensuring that every project reflects your unique vision and lifestyle. A professional polisher of diamonds in the rough, she has the unique ability to see the potential in every project. As a parent who loves to entertain and host gatherings she knows the importance of designing spaces that are functional for every day life and the special moments in between.
During a major overhaul of her first home, an outdated bungalow on Cleveland's Eastside, she fell in love with the thoughtful intersection of function and style. Once she experienced first hand the power design has to improve your life on a daily basis she was hooked.
With over 20 years of experience in business management, including project management, change implementation, and finance she was given the opportunity to build out several new brick and mortar locations from concept to completion. Between home renovations and designing and overseeing several commercial projects, she developed 15 years of design experience before she opened Sweethearts Interior Design in 2020.
